Gorguss Girls
Jun

Good afternoon!
Well, it’s raining outside so perfect excuse (as if I need one!) to sit and make cards. My son’s girlfriend Stacey bought me some Gorguss Girl stamps for my birthday so I decided to get to work and use them.
Love this ‘attitude’ one, she is sooo cute. I do like to make square cards – I used cardstock from Jo at Stampin up, paper from Papermania, Cuttlebug nesties from Craft Obsessions. I used copics to colour, flowers are prima from my stock as well as the jewels.
Hope you like it, thanks for looking,
Julie
More Boxes
Jun

Well, another two made for my birthday friends – hope they don’t see them before tonight!
I have loved making these boxes, quite quick once you have printed off the templates on to card, again I have used DCWV papers from the summer collection, scallopped edge punch from Jo at Stampin Up and the second from Martha Stewart collection (Craft Obsessions), brads, flowers and handbag charm from my stash. Not too flowery or over embellised which is quite me at the moment. Hope you like them…
Thanks for looking,
Julie
Picnic Box
Jun

I have a few birthdays to get ready for this week, and have done the cards and have been thinking what to buy the recipients. I have a few nice things to hand and thought about making a box for the gifts, so looked on Lauren Meader’s site (for Papertrey Ink) as she does some fantastic templates expecially for boxes. I was in luck as on her current post there was a Picnic Box which looked really cute! I went on the site, paid and downloaded the templates in minutes and started to make up one – I haven’t embellised it like they do but was quite pleased with my first attempt with the time I had to do it. The second one is tgo be a bit more girlie. I used DCWV papers from the Summer Box collection from QVC, crystal brads from my stash and a few flowers to pop onto the top of it, eh voila!
Hope you like it, and thanks for looking,
Julie
