More LOTV
Jul
Afternoon
Just got back from seeing the MIL in Shaftesbury, nice drive in the sunshine.
I just love love love the LOTV stamps, this one is going to be a firm fave too – they are just making them cuter and cuter. The Xmas ones arrived too, can’t wait to get my hands on them!!
As usual these days, this is coloured with Promarkers and mounted on to papers from Papermania, love the muted colours, LOTV sentiment and buttons from stash – simple… Hope you like her. Going shopping with my Mum and Sis now.
Take care.
A little bird told me…
Jul
Morning
I have been up since 5.30 this morning, aargh! So finished a card I started last night at our lovely crop in Ferndown. Just love this stamp, she is just so cute and haven’t stamped her in ages. I cropped her on to card and used the corner punch from Martha Stewart, coloured in with Promarkers and used my new Papermania papers, old stash of flowers, buttons and gems and an LOTV sentiment, eh voila, easy little card.
I have been also finishing off five thank you cards for the girls in my class at work and for the four students in our class who are leaving school today at 19 – we will miss them dreadfully…
Take care.

Afternoon
And lovely it is here too. Had my hair cut at last so feel much much better…
This is a stamp I was thinking of putting in my selling pile, but thought I would give it a go again and must say, I do like it.
I have coloured her in with Promarkers mounted onto blue cardstock and used some new Jane Edwards ‘A warm welcome’ papers by Papermania, all earth tones and very nice. The sentiment is LOTV, flowers and buttons from my stash and the gems are again from Papermania.
Take care…
Mix and Match
Jul
Afternoon – well, it is turning out to be a nice day after all but got some house chores done this morning and bits of gardening. With that out of the way, I have been thinking what else I can use with my new Magnolia Sunset stamp.
This is what I came up with! I have had these Creative Expressions stamps for ages and have done nothing with them at all. They came in a set of three, Beach Gals, Sunny Days and Tropical Flip Flops (which I have used stamped on shrink plastic and they were lovely).
I love this sunset stamp and I think it went well with the Beach Gals, the sign post and the airplane sentiment – all coloured in with promarkers and mounted on to bazzil card stock I got from DCWV again ages ago (it is amazing what you find when you move from one place to another and have to sort things out!!).
Take care…
Pirate Magnolia
Jul
Well, what a horrid evening, all this rain and wind – hope it is much better for our School Sports Day tomorrow. We are Pirates!!
So I made this card and just love the Pirate Magnolias and the new Sunset Stamp too (both from Brenda and David at Craft Obsessions).
She is just so cute – I coloured her in with my Promarkers and mounted her onto My Minds Eye paper summer papers, punched out flowers and put brads int he middle and used a Stampin Up sentiment stamp – just loved making it and have started on a few more.
Hope we don’t get kept awake tonight – it is gusting out there somethin’ awful… Take care.
Bird Bookmarks
Jul
Well, it is turning out to be a good crafting day. I got all my Thank you cards done this morning and instead of doing the boxes I made bookmarks for the girls instead. Making the boxes made my fingers hurt (wish this virus would get out of my system and stop flaring up my arthritis!). I hope the girls will like them. Jo made us similar ones for our second Extravaganza with Jenny Moors – boy do they give us lots of nice giveaways on the days out!
The photo is a bit dark but looks like the rain is coming back.
Be back soon!
Stampin’ Again
Jul
Morning
Well, I am still in a mess and can’t find a place for all my Christmas stock yet but I am nearly there. Hubby has been great and put loads of shelves up for me and now have most of the storage I need but in such a small space that is quite difficult.
So with the rain this morning and me planning on my dayoff to do some gardening!! I have made a few cards using an old Stampin Up fave for a friend’s hubby in Maine who used to work with the lobster boats, so quite apt… The papers are from NitWits, just so cute, and the boat coloured in with Promarkers (bought a few more packs as they re half price in Hobby Craft at the mo). I have done a few this morning but only taken one photo so far but my desk space is a mess… need to tidy before I do anything else.
Take care and have a great day.
Colouring In!
Jun
Afternoon
Well I sat there in the sun after dead heading my roses just loving the heat and remembered I had a few birthday cards to make for this weekend. So off I went to start colouring in.
This first one is using the gorgeous LOTV stamps, done in pale washy colours using mainly promarkers and again the Martha Stewart punch for a frame, LOTV sentiments too.
I just love colouring in, it is such a great therapy for me though my fingers are still hurting after the rotten virus I had a month ago making it painful to hold a pen etc.
The second one is my new stamp from David at Craft Obsessions, she is so cute this Pirate Girl from Magnolia, again done in simple colours but this time Distress Inks and watercoloured (still practising this and have yet to master the face painting really) but still like to try.
Back at work again now and then David and Brenda’s crop on Saturday at West Moors so a few more days to get all my stuff ready for that.
Take care…
Sweet Pea card
Jun

Morning
It is so long since I posted anything on this site – think I ran out of steam with everything before I went on holiday and now I am back I have been way too busy!
So just a quickie card this morning, this is from the stamp set that was our gift from Jo and Jenny at our last Extravanganza, Sweet Pea, love the little bird and the flower stamps. I have done this one in the SU soft subtle shades and used my new Martha Stewart punch (QVC) which also makes lovely frames. Just simple to get me started again.
Take care…
La Blanche
May

Afternoon
And isn’t it lovely out! Yeah… Though not feeling too bright today, ache all over and have a sore throat, yuk…
But have sat myself down to do a few cards after colouring in last night. You know how it is, you look through your old stash, sorting out cupboards and boxes you haven’t looked in in a while and there were these lovely La Blanche foam stamps I got from QVC ages ago – how cute are they. Yes, I know, I am still on a very cutesy theme!
Both are coloured in with Promakers with some old K & Co paper and Papermania Wedding papers, a few flowers and sentiments from Stampin Up, simple but I did enjoy doing them.
Take care and hope this weather stays warm…
