Step Cards
Feb
While I had some time I put some more cards together. At our extravaganza the other weekend, Jenny Moors showed us how to make step cards so I used our stamp set from Jo and Jenny for birthdays for one and the lovely frog set that Stampin Up did two years ago and haven’t used for ages for the other one. Cute huh! Might have to take these again though as it was getting dark and my flash came on…
HOpe you are having a good week.

Umbrella Anya
Feb

Afternoon
Cloudy out now so thought I would get a chance to do a few cards, then my Mum reminded me that while we are away, we have seven family birthdays!! So I have been busy doing some of them, four mens though, sooo hard but love the new stamps set we got at our Extravaganza last weekend with the birthday cake and stand set, can be used for boys or girls, so will come in very handy as I do them this afternoon!
I love this Anya set (beach girl and snow togged girl in the same set) and tried to do it in different colours for me so chose bright red and lime green and I liked it. I love the umbrella embellishments, everything else is from my stash.
Hope you like it.

Jan

Well, I have been a busy girl today. These are a set of cards I have made for my friends Sue and Jayne at school who are covering for me whilst my hubby and I are away in New Zealand soon. Just got to think of a way now to box them for the gift. I hope they like them!
They are all Stampin Up - such fantastic stamps - coloured in with copic and promarker pens, glitter from stampin up and the papers are Minds Eye from the springtime set.

12 days of Christmas
Dec
Well, two posts in one day! It has been so cold out I thought I would get on with a project I have been doing for my sister for xmas.
These are the 12 days of Christmas clear stamps from Penny Black (got them at the Newbury Show). Instead of making them as a card I have made a decoration out of them instead. The backing papers are mostly K & Co - I know you can’t see them properly but I ran out of daylight and had to use auto wiht the flash (oops) so will try it again in the daylight. All the little critters are decoupaged too, again not clear, but I have had such fun doing it, hasn’t taken quite a long time on and off, but like the end result. Hope Helen likes it too!

Christmas stamping
Dec

Well, I did get some stamping done today and it was more Christmas cards. The snowgirl is one of the stamps my sis brought me back from Hawaii and I think she is just great - quite a few people will be getting this image from me! and the other is the snowman from Whiff of Joy Stamps, again one of my favourites.
The snowgirl card papers are from Anna Griffin as is the sentiment stamp and the snowman sentiment stamp is from Penny Black that I bought from David at Craft Obsessions - just decoupaged the holly leaves and added a few gems, both cards I have used copic and promark pens - quite simple for me but then I have loads to make! Umbrella Girls
Nov

Well, I have at long last gotten round to doing some cards. My sister bought me this stamp in Hawaii (lucky girl!) and have used it for some birthday cards today.
The papers are from my stash from long ago, the statement stamps are from Jo at Stampin Up used with their oval punches which are great - can’t say enough about the quality of Stampin Up! Ribbon and flowers are from Craft Obsessions and the umbrella ornaments were from The Range.
Hope you like them and that I can get more time to create!

New Flower Set
Oct

Afternoon
Well, what a wash out today but we were warned and I suppose we need the rain…
I have another cold so thought I would pamper myself with doing a bit of stamping in between sneezing and used one of the other new Stamping Up sets I got from Jo at the weekend. This is a gorgeous stamp set and thought I would near enough copy from the catalogue just to give me an idea while my head is too foggy.
The ink is Brilliance, love the shimmer on it, in pink and lilac with a hint of lime green from a big flower outline stamp I bought ages ago with just a bit of decoupage in the centre.

Tempting Trees
Oct

Morning
Well, we had our lovely crop at Moordown on Saturday, so nice to be with the girls and scrapbooking. But I still love card making the best and as I belong to Jo’s Stampers 8 and I had my hostess gifts and stamp sets given to me at the crop, I had to play with them the next day.
Jo had given me a lovely thank you gift card with this Tempting Trees set on it from Stampin Up which is so great so I have lifted her design as such but different colours (her card is gorgeous and I am still learning) - she is such an insipiration on colour and design my friend Jo - go to her blog and have a look, Stampin N Stuff, for her beautiful cards.
I have used Turquoise temptation and Sunshine yellow for one card and on the other the green is from my stash, but they make cute little cards don’t they. If you have never looked at the stamps sets from Stampin Up you don’t know what you have missed - I want them all!
Have fun,
Julie
Orange and Green
Oct

Well, two posts in one day - still on the subject of autumn orange and green today I was looking in my now tidy stamps drawer to try and find some old stamps I hadn’t used in a very long time.
The flower and leaf stamps were going to be thrown out but thought I would leave them for one more season and I do like stamping. They are so old I cannot remember where they came from, same with the papers which I unearthed on my massive tidy out.
The tree is a new stamp though from David and Brenda at Craft Obsessions and is part of the Christmas sets brought out by Penny Black which are just lovely (I have been making a lot of my Xmas cards with this one!) - so hope you like them.

Autumn Colours
Oct

Morning
Well, it’s yucky outside even though we really needed the rain. I have been very busy lately hence no updates but have had a chance to do a few cards this morning in between the boring household chores on my day off.
I do love this Gorguss girl stamp, she is so sweet, and wanted to give her an autumnal feel with all the leaves dropping like crazy outside. The paper is from Craftwork Cards, such a lovely weight and silky, ribbon from Jo at Stampin Up as is the sentiment stamp and the earth elements pens used for colouring, other card and jewels from my stash.
Hope you like them…
