52 in 18/19

Afternoon
Well thank you Karen as always for your great prompts. I have combined nos 18 and 19 to make a doubled page layout with No 17.
I have used the lovely Stampin Up papers again from Jo, love the psychedelic influence seeing as our school was founded in 1959 it is quite apt for the hippy era! The bottom strip is Happy Birthday for our 50 years is DCWV papers, Martha Stewart embossed punch, alphabet from old stock (am trying to use up all my old stuff). The flower is four layers with a jewelled brad from Hobby House with the butterfly (our school mascot) from Clarity Stamps – got it at the Ally Pally Show – which has angelina fibres in between, double layered and jewelled in the middle, swinging on a chain for the ‘Movement’ which Karen had asked for with the prompt.
I had fun doing this though my fingers cramped trying to put the links through the tiny chain! – it sucks having arthritis…
Take care

New LOTV Stamps!
Afternoon
Well, I am happy the rain has come, if not just for the garden. But for the chance to stay in and stamp – so easily pleased am I!
My new Lily of the Valley stamps arrived this morning, two teddy ones and two little boy ones, just scrummy. And one of my Cardmaking magazines, how lovely. So I have been busy doing a few cards with the heating on… brr, can’t believe how cold it is.
They are coloured in with Promarkers and Copics, the teddy layered on to Papermania paper and pink card and flowers from stock, old sentiment stamps that I haven’t used in such a long
time.
I might try watercolouring the teddy on the wall one next as it is quite fiddly with the promarkers but that means I will have to tidy my work area first… oh well, needs must.
Hope you all have a good weekend, take care …

Vintage SU

Morning
Lovely out there but cold so although I should be finishing off in the garden from the weekend, I am going to do some cards and scrapbooking as I have to work tomorrow.
This is from the SU Vintage stamp set again, love it, but on a long card – I have loads of cards in my stash box and mainly use square but found a load of these hammered cream ones so thought I would make a change. I have used inked cut and dry all around the edges of the card and panels, stamped the flowers etc with my new Spice Big and Juicy ink pad, cutting out for the decoupage and a few brads in the middle of the small flowers - a bit grungy from me but I like a change.
HOpe to get more done later. Take care …

52 in 10 – prompt 17 It’s Just Work

Just a quickie (3 posts in one day!)
This is my effort for prompt 17 (I still have four to catch up on) and it is the start of four for the subject of work.
I work with a great bunch of people and awesome children for Langside School in Poole for children with severe learning disabilities. We are 50 years old this year and are fund raising for a badly needed new mini bus so if anyone sees this and wants to put their hands in their pockets, just let our school know! So many of the staff are walking 50 miles around Bournemouth and Poole to raise money over two days at Whitsun – if you see them give them a wave and some money!!
This is the gorgeous new Stampin Up paper, photo mounted on black core card to rip the edges as required in our challenge by Karen, SU butterfly punch and stamps (our school motif) and I made felt flowers, loved that, and put old stash ribbon on to finish it all off. Hope y0u like it - quite simple and to the point for me.
Take care…

Roses are red…

Well, I at last got to do some scrapbooking and it is of my great niece Phoebe. We all went to the park the other day and she had the most gorgeous Roses outfit on from Next. I just had to use one of my new Websters papers from Craft Obsessions along with the organza roses too, and also from David and Brenda the crystals to frame the photo. I also used rose bazzil which I stamped lightly with my new roller from SU with the Vintage reel, I edged the card and papers with dark crimson from Anna Griffin, mounted the photos on to coredinations card to rip and get the red underneath, used roses and crystal beads from Hobby Craft and stamped andmade a butterfly from my new Clarity stamp using the gold shimmer paper.
Hope you like it, take care…

Red and Black
Morning
Another glorious one too, aren’t we lucky though the garden could use some rain!
We were at our crop at West Moors (David and Brendas) on Saturday and all talked about our scraps boxes, you know us crafters, can’t throw anything away – I am not that brave – so I thought I would start this week by using some of them.
I had used black and red for a layout so have used the scraps to make a card with my new stamp set from Jo at SU, Vintage Vogue. It is so versatile and looks good in any colour, and simply put black brads in the centre of the flowers after doing a bit of decoupage, and apaprt from doing a bit of cutting, simple.
Have a nice day, take care…

Same again, different colours!

Well, another glorious day – wonder if it will be like this in the summer??
I decided to do the same stamps as yesterday, just in different colours. The Boy on the bike is just a simple easel card and coloured with just Promarkers this time (Craft Obsessions) and matted onto some bazzil cardstock. The sentiment and oval punches are from Stampin Up. The little bear, so cute, is much the same but have used sparkes on the butterfly wings and glossy accents this time on his glasses, Promarkers again.
Hope you like them, sorry it is the same stamps but just love these LOTV stamps – wish I could get the whole lot!!

Afternoon, and another glorious one!
I had a quick card to make for both a boy and a girl and thanks to Lili of the Valley stamps again and my friend Jo who had this boy stamp, I could make a quickie card this pm – isn’t he cute!! Very simple, just matted and layered on to shiny red and black card with a Stampin Up sentiment, coloured in as always with Copics and Promarkers, Much the same with the little bear but also using SU Card too.
Hope you like them – take care…

Fairy on Tiptoes
What a gorgeous day this has been again – those of you like me on school holiday have had two fantastic weeks of sunshine!
I coloured in last night after being at our lovely crop yesterday with all the girls. So today I could just get on with making the cards, and I like this one a lot, love the fairy on tiptoes. I used Copics and Promarker pens as usual and matted her on to green bazzil and pink card from my stash to make the easel card. The sentiment is from Stampin Up as are the oval punches, and I used my embossing punch from Martha Stewart for the base part of the card. I used Diamond Stickles on her wings and the roses from my stash, the leaf punch is from The Hobby House.
HOpe you like it, take care…

The cutest Tilda
Afternoon
I just had a few hours to colour in today so did a few more LofV cards and some Magnolia ones.
I love this Tilda card with the pigtails, coloured her simply with Copics and decoupaged her in front of the signpost also from Magnolia (I got these from David and Brenda at Craft Obsessions). Just finishing off the edge with a Martha Stewart punch eh voila.
Take care…
